Grumble

So, I think I've made it clear in the past that I pretty much hate Tuesdays.

This lovely December 7th served only to reinforce my distaste toward the second (or third if you must) day of the week.

To explain why, as usual, we need to rewind to like a month ago, and I need to explain some random concept.

Here at Wazzu, in order to sign up for classes, you need to make an appointment with your academic adviser and discuss the courses you want to take blah blah blah. The problem is, there are something like 18,000 students enrolled here, and while I'm not sure of the exact number of advisers, I'm fairly confident its in the area of TOO FUCKING FEW.

Roughly a month ago, when the gettin was still good for making an appointment, I emailed my person requesting to make an appointment.

But nah, thats too simple.

I have to go through some ridiculous, horribly designed webiste in order to make an appointment.

So I attempt to do that, and for some inexplicable reason my name isn't in the system. So, with no other options, I do what anyone with a brain fears to do: I called a support number.

Again, for some reason I can't really imagine, it takes a few days for my name to get into the system thing.

Finally when I can make an appointment, all slots are filled until today, December 7th.

Registration for classes began on November 17th I believe.

So that means the past 20 days, all of the classes have been filling up like crazygonuts.

But I figured hay, better late than never right?

Well, apparently not. I woke up an hour and half earlier than usual today in order to be at my advisers office by 9. I checked in at 8:55, and was told I would be called in when he was ready.

When 9:15 rolled around, I decided I should go see wtf is take so long.

It was at this point that I was informed that my adviser was out sick today.

I kinda wanted to go apeshit with a can of Axe and a lighter, but then I realized that I was out of axe.

In fact I've been out of axe since like 7th grade. Ew.

Following this joyful experience, I figured I'd go back to sleep for a bit before my first class. My phone was apparently out sick for the day as well, as it decided it didn't want to go off to wake me up in time for Engrish.

Luckily I received a thoughtful text from Casey ("Fag where are you?") and managed to get to class... Only about 20 minutes late.

However, after English my day began to improve slightly. Psychology got out about 20 minutes early, and my music class was canceled.

So I figured maybe I'll start working on the mound of studying/homework I have to do before next week.

Naturally I'm blogging instead, then I'll probably sleep for a few hours, watch Fight Club.... Then go back to sleep.

Yay college?
